If you think I have been posting rather a lot this week, well, yes, it's a fair cop. I've really enjoyed it (and can only apologise if you haven't) but I'll probably dry up at last, now. Mr Birds was off all week helping with the kids because most of us were ill, and I felt too cruddy to write, so there was nothing much to do except read fic and talk nonsense on LJ. I'm a lot better now, though, and if I do get any spare time I should really spend it writing for some of these fests I have signed up for. O_O But thanks to everyone who has chatted with me - it has been a great distraction on some pretty crappy days. <3

This fic! I had a wonderful surprise this week when this_bloody_cat (who shall henceforth be known as this_darling_cat) posted this gorgeous, funny and daft fic which she wrote for my prompt. I only gave her the words 'new jeans', and how she managed to come up with this perfect romp written in a deliciously irritable Draco voice is a marvel. It's delightful and surprisingly romantic. It made my week; thank you, dear cat.

First of all, WOOHOO! I reached 10k on my harrybang! I know this is a puny little milestone, but it was hard won. Thank you to my delightful cheerleaders (or people who have just tolerated me, LOL). It's very rough around the edges at the moment, but, ignoring that small fact, that's hopefully a fifth of the fic done! \o/

I do love hp_kinkfest - there were some fabulous things this year, and the masterlist is going up this evening if you want to have a look.

My chosen kink was voyeurism and Pensieve memories. I so enjoyed writing Draco's POV and trying to make him sympathetic in spite of his flaws. And, as always, I fell in love with Harry again by seeing him through Draco's eyes.
