First of all, apologies if we're friends on facebook and you already saw this, but you just HAVE to watch this guy putting on his trousers without using his hands. UTTERLY MESMERISING. It's forty-five seconds of pure poetry. I would probably rupture something if I tried this, but I have a feeling I am going to find myself unable to resist, anyway.

I hope everyone is going to leave wonderful prompts at the hd_fanart fest? I left my 3 already and I have one more up my sleeve because I won the guessing poll last year. \o/ PLUS, a fabulous person prompted my Draco / eyeliner / glitter / strategically-placed balloon scene, so I feel like I have FIVE prompts. I hope some of them get picked. ♥

I'm also terribly excited about the dm_asp_fest, which opened claiming yesterday. I really love this pairing and its potential for so many different kinds of romance and wrongness. There are some fabulous prompts there, and some scenarios that would make great art, as well.

Finally, this chap used to be on a big poster in the window of a hairdressers near us. I always got a lovely frisson when I went past, and then they changed the poster to some boring boy who didn't look anything like Draco. But searching for something entirely different today, I found him again on the internet.



Oh! SO PRETTY. Shame about the eyebrow colour, but you can't have everything. Maybe we can photoshop them?

Listen, as soon as I saw it I wanted to do it. But my 11 year old forbade me, and almost got a bit tearful when I said we all had to try it as a competitive sport. O_o He is very sensitive to parental idiocy at the moment. So I've refrained so far.

Okay, so I just tried the trousers thing. Not as easy as that dude makes it look. I got them up to my knees okay, but when I was stretching to try to get the cuff over my heel I lost my balance and fell on my face. Like, literally faceplanted because my stupid brain was still screaming "DON'T USE YOUR HANDS!!!" Scared the fuck out of the cat and then dissolved into helpless giggling. I really wish I'd taken a video of it.

I reckon the rest of him would be my head canon Draco, too - skinny and elegant. I couldn't get the hint of shoulder in the screenshot. For some stupid reason the image wouldn't copy, or link, I had to do all sorts of arcane copy and pasting things and image hosting and stuff. All so you could see his pretty face. I did actually try to take a photo of him in situ once, because I knew how much you would all enjoy him. I thought I could get one of my children to stand in front and pretend I was taking a photo of THEM. But in the end it seemed just that bit too dorky for comfort :D

Ah, yes, the dice roller. I need to give it some more tries. I had them wondering in the Great Hall (around 2000) on a bed with addictive touching and then the dice spilled 'kissing' instead of open-air sex. That just screams cheating...

I hadn't really registered how androgynous this Draco is until several people mentioned it. My taste in both men and women does run to the androgynous; there's something so appealing about it. I saw a person the other day who I still have NO IDEA whether they were male or female, which is quite unusual, despite having a good surreptitious gawp. Gosh, they were lovely.
