Content/Warnings: Where do I start? It's a 22k PWP. O_O. Serious consent issues, sex under the influence of alcohol and potions, voyeurism, a threesome, jealousy, a little angst, infidelity kink, orgasm delay, powerplay, wanking, really quite a lot of anal sex, kind-of incest, a tiny bit of H/D UST, age disparity 19/45.
Summary: A fire is prickling in the pit of my belly. I feel a little like I'm watching this happening to someone else. Al's sitting there, reeking of another man's sweat and come. He looks miserable and anxious... but also well-fucked. I look at his mussed hair, his bitten lips. I've never wanted him more.

I prompted a simplified version of this at hp_crossgenfest and then the whole smutty scenario took over my brain and I became its slave until I had written, well, this. I thought it was going to be a breezy, Oh! Those Malfoys! They're so BAD kind of thing, but then I started writing Scorpius' POV and, omg, I was sunk. I got really really involved with the jealousy kink, and I indentified with Scorpius so so much, and it took me a while to realise that it was related to some stuff from my own RL. Don't worry, though, Mr Birds is not cheating on me with my dad. :D Once I realised, I found it hard to carry on, but in the end it was quite cathartic to write it all out and give everyone involved the happiest ending I could manage.

The other thing I need to state here is that I was actually pretty horrified and ashamed by the sheer volume of kinky smut that came pouring out when I wrote this. I'm still not quite sure how this happened. But I'm terribly grateful that people have been kind about it, and even quite enthusiastic, rather than suggesting some kind of intervention. THANK YOU! ♥

I feel the need to comment again because I loved this so, so much. I loved the hints of H/D (Draco does seem to love how much Albus resembles his dad, doesn't he?), Albus' earnestness and Scorpius being all up in Draco's face the morning after. Incredible that you pulled off a 22K PWP without a flaw. Really incredible.

Ah, thank you! I enjoyed the hints of H/D, too! In my headcanon for this story, H/D were never together, but Draco has obviously thought about it, and is enjoying the way in which Albus reminds him of Harry, the warped bastard. There must be something wrong with me; I enjoy twisted dynamics like this so much. I also really like the thought of Harry completely horrified because Draco fucked his son. Poor Harry. I actually love him dearly, I promise!

I hope it's okay to say this but since you're mentioning the jealousy kink, I have to say that those moments were not easy to read. I especially remember that scene when Scorpius is standing in front of Draco's closed door, knowing full well what's going on behind it, you captured that unpleasant feeling amazingly well. :)

Oh, of course it's OK to say that! I'm so sorry it was difficult - do you think the warnings were clear enough? I'm glad in a way that I captured the feeling well, because writing for this was quite powerful for me and helped to lay a few things to rest. It's not sexual jealousy or anything that anyone else would connect with this story, but it did tap into something big for me and I guess a lot of those feelings came out through the characters' expereiences.

That confrontation scene, one of the most amazing things ever. And it's just the whole fic. Scorpius, bears saying again, is worth his weight in gold. And Albus, damnit, Albus!!! And DRACO. Fucking Draco, I love them all. :D

I generally don't read cross-gen and have next to no interest in the next generation of HP characters, but I read this and while it was kinda wrong, it was also kinda wonderful. I enjoyed the Scorpius-Draco interactions, with both of them being so quintessentially Malfoy. And well, I loved the hints at H/D, because H/D is and will always be the OTP of OTPs for me.

Wow! So, this was, wow...

I really liked the dynamic between Draco and Scorpius, where it starts off with jealousy and one upping the other but ends with Draco being proud of Scorpius, egging him on to make him better...sweet sort of paternal pride within this unusual context. And the way both Malfoys are completely smitten with Al is adorable, especially as Draco can't seem to deny him anything. Loved that it ended with them laughing over the entire oddness of their situation. Perfect.

I appreciate how you skirted that line between full on parent/child-cest. That's actually one of my squicks, but I'm the kind of sick individual who likes to read and push through my squicks. This fic got right up to the edge of my comfort zone, pushed a bit past it, and I still ended up loving it. I guess that's because you do such a great job of portraying their emotions and their understanding that, yeah, this is kind of messed up, but they can't seem to pull away from each other. And, also, hot. Yes, lots of kinky smut. But let's make a deal, you won't be shy about writing it and I won't be shy about reading it.

Btw. You've converted me, ever since reading your Ungaurded series, I'm a sucker for next gen (especially Al).

Oh, I'm so delighted to read this lovely comment. It's wonderful to hear that the dynamic between Draco and Scorpius worked for you. It took me by surprise as I was writing it, really, and I was amazed myself at how things worked out between the two of them - the jealousy, the hints of darkness, the almost-cest, and the pride and longing for intimacy. I'm glad that it didn't squick you - I don't usually like parentcest either, but for some reason I make an exception for the Malfoys - probably because of my vast and boundless love for who_la_hoop's amazing fic The Evil Devil Child and the Perfect Gift, which is FAR more incesty (and far more brilliant) than mine.
