Two of my prompts have been claimed at hd_fan_fair! I am thrilled! One of them is Hogwarts caretaker!Draco and librarian!Harry, which it seems to me is ripe for comedy and smut, but could of course be steered in any number of fabulous directions. I'm just excited to read whatever happens with this one. Thank you very much if the person who claimed it is reading this.

And the other one, OH JOY OF JOYS, is my Adam Ant!Harry / manager!Draco ART PROMPT; oh my giddy aunt, am I chuffed about THIS? In the SERIOUSLY EXCITED, can't wait, is-career-fair-posting-yet sort of way.

I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE END OF SEPTEMBER!! WHAT IS THIS OUTRAGEOUS LENGTH OF TIME? No-one could survive waiting for Adam Ant!Harry that long. NO-ONE. I'm going to have to hack into the mods' computers and steal the fucker. Don't worry, I'll share after I have had my way with him.

And, speaking of other things that have made me happy this week, I made it past 15k on my harrybang. I know 15k is not terribly impressive, but I feel it's not bad for a start, and the story is hopefully starting to shape up. Soooooooo... I thought it wouldn't be too bad if I took one little prompt at hd_fan_fair for myself. Just a teeny little one. I can knock it up in a weekend, I'm sure. No problem ;-)

I'm slightly in love with my prompt. I got the one I was staking out the claiming post half the day for hoping to get, so I'm really chuffed about that.

And 15K words is nothing to sneeze at, do you have a minimum count you need to reach? Hearing that I can look forward to a long story from you is a very fine thing though :D

I am wibbling on the edge about career fair... I kind of want to, and realistically I probably know that i'll cave and claim a prompt, but at the same time I've already signed up for so many things- I might just have to force myself to draw shorted comics or something- sigh

Additions: If Draco had a little hat and a uniform that would be quite nice...
Scenario: Harry works in a desk job at the Ministry. Draco is the Safety Officer for the Ministry. The weird thing is, though, that whenever Draco comes to Harry's department to check their safety charms and so on are all working properly, fires keep breaking out.

This rather ridiculous prompt was inspired by the very ridiculous song High Voltage by Electric Six:
“Don't you want to know how we keep starting fires?
It's my desire, It's my desire, It's my desire
Danger! Danger! High Voltage!
When we touch, When we kiss.”

I'd like it if the fires just break out spontaneously whenever Harry and Draco are near one another, as suggested by the song.

I have to admit, I was sorely tempted y this one when I saw it, a) because it's an amazing premise, and b) because I really have loved that song for an awfully long time.
UGH IT'S SO HARD. I also really love the museum one- the outfits I could put Draco in. The outfits!
(You know the worst thing is that I actually got a little disappointed in myself when you pointed out that there were a distinct lack of bums in my smoochfest- I have grown too powerful)

Scenario: Harry is a carpenter and/or furniture maker. Draco is a furniture tester who gives feedback on comfort level, material and aesthetics. Draco makes Harry's life difficult. Harry likes difficult things.

NO, LOOK, DEAR dustmouth, I WAS WRONG. I thought that was the perfect prompt for you, but THIS is actually the perfect prompt. It's got funny costumes and everything. IMAGINE THE LUDICROUS OUTFITS YOU CAN MAKE DRACO WEAR.

Additions: H/D divorced or separated, please. Lots of lovely costumes, uniforms, boots and hats please. How about cross-dressing, too?
Scenario: Draco is employed by the Wizarding History Museum to add a bit of colour as visitors wander around the exhibitions. He has to dress up in costume and roleplay as various historical figures. Too bad for him that it's Potter's kids' favourite place to visit every bloody weekend.
