Adding my voice to those who loved this fic! I wasn't really following hd_familyfest - I thought it was going to be all about raising children and such things that I am not especially interested in outside of RL. However this is a fabulous getting-back-together!fic, where Harry and Draco have been forced to marry, but find their problems are by no means over when the accidental bond wears off and they are able to divorce.

It's told mostly via deft use of flashbacks, with a lovely supporting cast and some wonderful humour in amongst the pining and flangsty goodness. The smut, when it comes, is fierce and delicious, and there are some great side pairings which develop through the story, too. I really recommend it.

-- Have you seen yaoihands on tumblr?  I don't like those blogs that basically rip fanart to pieces and so on, but this is laughing at the tropes of commercial yaoi, and  OMG, LOLOL. I had never noticed how the seme's hands are often as big as the uke's head, amongst other weird fetishy anatomy distortions. I find the hands the funniest, but there is all sorts on this tumblr, too: wtfyaoianatomy. These people are obviously competent artists, so I don't really know what is going on...?

Also, two words: pterodactyl porn. I have never laughed so hard in my life. Like, I actually went beyond laughing and started making this strange wheezing sound that had my husband running in from the other room to make sure I was okay, then he saw what I was watching and turned right around and left again, because he's no fun like that.

I really enjoyed familyfest, even though kid!fic is pretty far down my list of things I like. But a lot of it was really well done and I had a lot of fun reading. I still need to go back and leave comments, because I'm sort of a failure this week.

Omg, that dinosaur erotica might be the most ridiculous thing I've ever read, laughed so hard!! XD I'm really crossing my fingers for a Drarry with Velociraptor!Harry :D it makes me wonder, though. Can animagus forms be extinct animals? If so, can they also be animals that have never existed? Like a tiger/cow-hybrid?

About familyfest, as far as I've understand the criteria is family life. So that doesn't necessarily have to include children.

God, I have always hated anime. I mean, triangle heads that are 1/4 the size of the person's body, what freaky shit is that? But so many people seem to love it I figured it was just Not My Thing, but I find I am not alone! Bless tumblr.
