Adding my voice to those who loved this fic! I wasn't really following hd_familyfest - I thought it was going to be all about raising children and such things that I am not especially interested in outside of RL. However this is a fabulous getting-back-together!fic, where Harry and Draco have been forced to marry, but find their problems are by no means over when the accidental bond wears off and they are able to divorce.

It's told mostly via deft use of flashbacks, with a lovely supporting cast and some wonderful humour in amongst the pining and flangsty goodness. The smut, when it comes, is fierce and delicious, and there are some great side pairings which develop through the story, too. I really recommend it.

-- Have you seen yaoihands on tumblr?  I don't like those blogs that basically rip fanart to pieces and so on, but this is laughing at the tropes of commercial yaoi, and  OMG, LOLOL. I had never noticed how the seme's hands are often as big as the uke's head, amongst other weird fetishy anatomy distortions. I find the hands the funniest, but there is all sorts on this tumblr, too: wtfyaoianatomy. These people are obviously competent artists, so I don't really know what is going on...?

I think this must be one of the best examples of Rule 34 I've ever seen.

Taken By the T-Rex might be my favourite title ever.

Just wondering how to incorporate dinosaur sexing into my Harrybang or indeed, how to start writing the bloody thing, but we won't speak of that right now.

They could feature the next-gen kids or they could just be about Harry and Draco raising Teddy together. They do not necessarily have to be together at the beginning of the story, but they do have to be a couple by the end of it. The stories can be fluffy or angsty, but they need to have happy endings. It is not absolutely necessary that all the stories have to feature kids. Stories about Harry and Draco learning to be a couple and learning to live together would also be fine.

It's mostly about h/d getting together -- mine (at the risk of revealing my fic which is anon) was more about Draco dealing w/ his own issues while trying to be there for Teddy.

Ah, that's good to know, thank you. I knew I was missing the point a bit, but I wondered why FAMILY fest if it could really refer to any situation in life that wasn't involving kids? That makes perfect sense, though.
