Dear capitu,

I have always thought that the little corner of fandom with your name on it was a glorious place, but this month, after reading about how you had completed your 1000th rec at your journal my_drarry_recs, and then seeing your wonderful post about writing comments, I was overwhelmed with capitu love. :DDD

On speaking to some other people, it transpires we ALL FELT THE SAME, and so it was decided that we needed an excuse to show you some appreciation and celebrate your wonderfulness.

So here it is! It's a party for you! Please indulge us, as it made us very happy to plan this for you. Some people have made you presents, and I'm hoping they will be along soon to leave them here in comments, and I think possibly some people might be posting on their own journals, too. (maybe they would leave a link here so we can all enjoy?) We kept it secret until now to make it more exciting, but if anyone at all feels like leaving capitu a message here, a gif or a drabble or sketch or anything at all, please please do so.

Dear Capitu,

Thank you... Thank you for your reviews--for your willingness to see only the best in my words and to call forth the heart of our stories. And to do it all in away that is charming beyond reason. Rarely are reviews so consistently insightful, gracious, and just plain darling. Thank you for each and every one.

Thank you for your rec lists; thanks for being a trusted resource of stories that I know I can turn to when I want to leave the world behind for a little while. Thank you for including some of my works therein (see aforementioned reference to seeing only the best parts of my own work and ignoring the messy bits in the background). And thank you for your continued ongoing devotion to these characters and our little world.

Thank you for your help with my journal. Every time I open the page, I'm reminded of how you went above and beyond to make my little landing spot special. Thanks for being willing to drop everything when I'm too ridiculous to know what to do and thank you for your careful work and knowledge that made a little idea come to life. (And thank you for holding my hand through the recent updating process! Wait, wait, did I *say* you could let go?!? *holds tight*)

We all have something to offer fandom, but you go above and beyond. Thank you for sharing of your time and heart. We're all so very grateful. <3

Everything you say I do, it doesn't feel like that to me. I mean, it's just so easy to be here, to enjoy and love being part of the fandom, so easy to share that love.

So it's me who thank you, for the stories, the friendship, the smiles and everything you offer. *hugs*
