I have always thought that the little corner of fandom with your name on it was a glorious place, but this month, after reading about how you had completed your 1000th rec at your journal![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
my_drarry_recs, and then seeing your wonderful post about writing comments, I was overwhelmed with capitu love. :DDD
On speaking to some other people, it transpires we ALL FELT THE SAME, and so it was decided that we needed an excuse to show you some appreciation and celebrate your wonderfulness.
So here it is! It's a party for you! Please indulge us, as it made us very happy to plan this for you. Some people have made you presents, and I'm hoping they will be along soon to leave them here in comments, and I think possibly some people might be posting on their own journals, too. (maybe they would leave a link here so we can all enjoy?) We kept it secret until now to make it more exciting, but if anyone at all feels like leavingcapitu a message here, a gif or a drabble or sketch or anything at all, please please do so.

Date: 2013-08-18 02:31 am (UTC)Some days, when I think that fandom is a conspiracy to give me wrinkles and make me mainline chocolate, I go back to a fest and read comments. Sometimes they're comments to one of my stories, more often to those of other people. At the end of this, I always feel better, because I see the generosity, love, support and enthusiasm that people bring to this fandom, which was what hooked me originally. The name at the start of most of those reviving comments is yours. You are the honey in our tea, the lime mortar in our wall and you are every bit as sweet and trustworthy as your metaphors.
I hope that we bring you a fraction of the joy you bring us.
