I have been up for hours and am feeling all bouncy and buzzy. This afternoon I will eat cake, and probably crash, but for now I can bring you these lovely gems that I have discovered.

First one is from [livejournal.com profile] bottom_draco.

Title: Draco Malfoy’s Diary
Author/Artist: Anonymous
Adapted from: Bridget Jones’ Diary (an amalgamation of the book and the film)
Pairing: Harry/Draco, Theo/Draco, past Harry/Ginny
Word Count/Medium: ~11,800 words, GIMP 2.0, Wacom Tablet
Rating: R
Contains: Infidelity (not between Harry/Draco)
Summary: Draco Malfoy decides that this year will be different. He will stand up to his father, stop getting irritated with his mother, give up smoking and find a suitable man. He chronicles his success (or lack thereof) in a diary.

This is currently anon (though I have my suspicions), and it's a wonderful adaptation from Bridget Jones' Diary. When an adaptation is done this well, it makes you wonder why no-one tried this before (perhaps they did?). Bridget and Draco's voices mesh so well together, and Harry in the Mark Darcy role is just yummy. The resolutions in particular seem made for Draco. Harry in the Weasley jumper! Draco counting the number of hairs on his pillow every morning! Draco wearing a sexy firefighter outfit to a party! It's all very witty, and well-worth a read even if you are not familiar with the original.

Next is from [livejournal.com profile] hd_remix:

Author/Artist: anonymous
Title: A Year in Training
Pairing(s): Harry/Draco, a tiny bit of Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: D/s overtones
Summary: Harry is finally living his dream and training as an Auror, but nothing seems to be going right: he’s just so angry all the time. And Draco Malfoy’s presence on the programme really isn’t helping with that, either. Remix of Tension by twilight_tones.
Word Count: ~25,400
Author's notes: There was so much packed into the original 300-word drabble that it took me a long time to unravel this story. I hope I’ve done it justice (and that it’s OK that I’ve stretched Harry’s professional status slightly). I’ve told a version of the wider story from Harry’s POV – one of many possibilities. Many thanks to B and E for prereading and betaing, and for helping me make this so much better than it would have been otherwise.

Another anon fic, the author of which you may like to try to guess...

I love so many things about this one. The story of Harry struggling through Auror training, with Malfoy as a thorn in his side, is compelling, smart and hot. The supporting characters are interesting in their own right, and there are plenty of scenes that stay in your mind after reading. I don't want to give too much away, but there's humour, surprises, original magic, lovely smut and snark.

I must admit I've not kept up with that many fics from remix, partly because I don't have a great deal of time to read, and with remix you usually need to make time two fics rather than one. This remix is based on a 300 word drabble, so no trouble there.

Lastly, this Disney Princesses parody song by Paint (Jon Cozart) is all over the internet, and very clever and cute too. I love his expressions and the way he interacts with the different versions of himself. The singing is lovely, also.

I went to stalk him a little bit look at his other work and found he has a Harry Potter in 99 seconds video. I love the way he's used the John Williams tunes, and his thoughts on Draco are quite perceptive :-D
