I just LOVE beards, however for some reason it is hard to imagine a really Harryish Harry with a beard, but this does it for me. ♥

In fact I am totally adopting this as my new mantra when people are being shitty.

- I decided to go as Newt Scamander again for our town cosplay event - I thought it was too niche, but people have pointed out that the Fantastic Beasts trailers are in the cinema right now so perhaps more people will know who I am? And the suitcase is actually too good to waste. On this subject does anyone know about temporary brown hair dye that won't stain your hair for ever? I don't really want to spend months growing out brown hair when I've just spent months getting it a nice white blonde and then dying it blue. Hmmm.

- Seeing Cursed Child (and the divine Ms who_la_hoop) in TWO WEEKS. *flail*

- And I wrote a rough H/D thing that's about 2k and it needs plenty of work but it's a STORY (kind of, heh) and I WROTE IT and this makes me happy.

- I hope you're having happy days, too, but if not, remember: they're just jealous because you're a Ghostbuster and they're not. ♥ ♥ ♥

OMG that Holtzmann drawing is beyond amazing <3<3<3

Also, about the hair, you could maybe try hair chalk? It's a bit of a hassle to put in, but I've done it before with pink and blue and they both washed out easily after. I bought a big box of different colours, and I'm pretty sure it included browns as well, but I haven't tried that out. It was pretty cheap :)

(Just remembered that you asked about my lilac hair when I got that, and to update you on that - it lasted disappointingly short. Just a week and a half later it was completely gone. On the bright side - it makes it less scary to do something like that again!)

I remembered you saying hair chalk had stained your hair? I may try, but I'm a bit wary tbh!

I'm sorry about the lilac. I have found pinky purples (which is the colour I'd love) only last a very short time. Bluey purples on the other hand last FOREVER, LOL, and then fade to green, on my hair, anyway.

I recommend Violet Directions if you can get hold of it, but it starts off very bright and deep and fades to a pretty pastel purple... then blue... then greenish. The only way to get a pastel that lasts AFAIK is to use a coloured shampoo like Bleach of London so that you are basically dying your hair a bit more every time you wash it...

Oh, I think that must've been someone else? I had no problems with the hair chalk. There was maybe a tiny hint of hue left after one wash, but after two it was totally gone both times I tried. And that was even with my current Malfoy-ish pale hair. Might be that it varies for different hair types though :/

Oh cool! Thanks for the tips :) I think maybe my hairdresser used something like the Bleach thing too, because she just had it in while she washed my hair. They also sold the dye so I could fix it myself when it faded, but I figured I wouldn't have the chance to do that on my travels so I didn't buy it. Maybe I have to try that the next time. Or find Bleach the next time I'm in London!

Ah, sorry, I can't remember who had trouble with the hair chalk then!

Just looked at the Bleach shop and they only do a pink shampoo at the moment. My friend who went to their salon for a pastel do, they told her to use this mixed in with her conditioner every time she washed it to keep it topped up. She said it was a right pain in the bum but it did look awesome. I'm happy to send a parcel any time you want something from the UK, you know. <3
