For the most marvellous lumosed_quill. \o/ Happy birthday, dear! I know we made a pact to write each other birthday drabbles this year, but I must say I do feel this is a puny thing to give you. You gave me a couple of prompts, but my mind latched on to the one about being really tired. I don't think you were even being serious, so, sorry about that. :D

Thank you for your friendship and support, and for the joy that your filthy and beautiful words give us all. I hope the next twelve months bring you success, love and happiness in everything that you do. ♥

Before the drabbles, I wanted to post my beautiful banner from the slythindor100 LDWS contest.

I know it would be more cool to pretend I was not super super excited to win, but I was. SO EXCITED. In fact every week was SO EXCITING. I loved this contest (and hated it in equal measure when I read the evil prompts and word counts each week, heh).



I also wanted to thank the very lovely omi_ohmy who betaed them all, encouraged me, and did flailing and bouncing with me every week. ♥

Author's Note: Written for sortinghatdrabs prompt #160: Pansy and any Gryffindor
This is my second attempt at writing a drabble, and I enjoyed working on it. I did not quite know myself what Pansy was up to until the end, though I find her character very intriguing and would like to write more about her one day. The quote (and title) was something I found afterwards, but I was delighted at how well it seemed to capture what I was trying to express about Pansy and her motivations, both during the war, and during the scene in this story.
