You've got to get obsessed and stay obsessed

I am SO INTO writing my hd_fan_fair fic now that I am an unkempt mess, growling at anything that tries to prevent me from writing all day and night, such as meals, personal hygiene and my children. Last night I was trying to write something super romantic and UST-ish, and I suddenly got hit by such a MASSIVE WHOOSH of Drarry feels, that it nearly knocked me over.

Then this morning I woke up and checked LJ on my phone in bed. A terrible habit, I know, but the baby has a habit of waking me up about 5.30 am and then going back to sleep, leaving me just lying there staring at the ceiling. And I saw raitala's latest, absolutely incredible hd_level_two art HERE and I got whooshed so hard again I went a bit giddy. Her art always used to leave me breathless and flushed, and now she has discovered animation I swear she may actually kill me.JUST LOOK AT THEM! The words, they are all gone.

Then over breakfast the gorgeous marianna_merlo had made such a lovely post about OTPs. Just another super nice fandom discussion that reminds you what a great community this is.

Finally I get home at the end of a long day and citrus_lime has drawn me totally NSFW art:

I am also just about to submit my hp_drizzle fic, yay! This fest looks so original and I had a hoot writing for it. And mini_fest is accepting prompts from today! Go and leave your Christmassy based HP prompts for any pairing.

So in short, I basically adore this kind of day, where I feel like I've fallen in love with Harry and Draco all over again (and all of you, too), and I want to shout it from the rooftops.

WOW, I was so excited to see this gorgeous piece of art at mini_fest yesterday. I was up far too late, and basically ended up dribbling all over the comments page, but it was such a great surprise to see someone had made art from my prompt, and such beautiful art too. ♥

I have seen this artist's work before and always LOVED her Harry, with his gorgeous, strong, masculine profile, but I don't think I have ever seen her draw this pairing before. Draco has an equally powerful face, and I love the challenging look they are exchanging. The poem I used for the prompt, is by a favourite poet of mine, Edna St. Vincent Millay. I woke up one morning with the lines running through my head and one of those weird obsessive fangirl feelings that it was connected to Harry / Draco somehow. I love the way the artist has interpreted the poem. ♥ Go and see it!
