The slashy cure for the common cold

Well, yesterday I complained that I was feeling ill and having a crappy day, and then things just started happening, and gorgeous things too.

First, lumosed_quill wrote me a gorgeous cross gen blow job PWP, just because I basically whined at her until she did. ♥ A blow job by any other name is a delicious glimpse of Draco / Albus Severus wrongness, with past H/D to titillate us further.

Then firethesound posted a comic she drew for me. This possibly needs a little explanation. On fire's birthday, I decided it would be a good idea to draw some art for one of her fics. Pretty shitty art, because I am no artist. And I hadn't actually read the fic I wanted to illustrate. But I asked capitu to describe it, so that was totally OK. *snort* Don't ask why I thought this was a good plan.

Anyway, when it was my birthday, what could I ask for except shitty fanart for a fic she'd never read. INSTEAD, SHE DID THIS:

It's HILARIOUS and warped and PERFECT. ♥ You have to see it, and you don't need to have read my fic - for a start, it's far funnier than the actual fic was. And surprisingly faithful to the original, too (she asked capitu to describe the story to her * double snort*)

Then, awickedmemory drew THIS:


LOOK LOOK! Harry and Draco are looking after me! And I'm drinking tea with my fabulous long bill! ♥ Look at my feet sticking out from the blanket! And I can't tell whether Draco is just sad in his soul that I am ill, or secretly thinking "I have to sit on the FLOOR? Next to a horrible basket of USED TISSUES? You can catch DISEASES from birds, you know..." :DDD

And then finally, dustmouth posted one of her amazing art dumps, and this time I think she's really surpassed herself. ♥ She drew my prompt of Draco being an artist's model, and so many other quirky, funny things for other people, that I just kept scrolling up and down and up and down again, and laughing, and beaming.

Anyway, I'm not exactly cured (and the baby has just started sniffling like mad *wail*), but I certainly feel an awful lot better being surrounded by the fandom equivalent of a warm blanket and a hot honey and lemon. ♥

OMG, I nearly forgot. Harry Styles gave an interview in which he said gender was "not that important" in a relationship. ♥ EEEEEEE! It was more along the lines of a jokey aside than a definitive statement of sexual orientation, but it made my heart sing, anyway.

Everything firethesound ever does is hot, that's why. Writing, drawing stick figures, wearing a dinosaur costume... ;-)

I'm getting better. Now if my family would stop being ill that would be much appreciated!
