Yay. I'm thinking about what to rec and when to rec what since I've first heard of Rectober. It will be ease to rec some treats but not to share some hidden gems. But all fandoms and all pairings... yeah, I can see that my tbr-fic-list will explode. LOL

It did tend to be based around HP and, indeed, H/D last year, purely because of who's on my flist, but it's definitely all-inclusive and I hope people will basically rec whatever they like reading!

That's my goal. I'm also going to try and rec something each day, and if not every day at least do a list of recs once a week!

Oh, it's interesting that people have been saving up recs to do. I sort of imagined it would mostly be recs from current fests. That's what I'm hoping for as I always get behind and need prodding :DD

Yep, I'm going current as much as possible. But I also like to sometimes check out somebody's master list, and if something strikes me and I know I haven't seen it recced around a lot, I'll go for it. But all my recs are going to be "new to me" I guess you could say. Not reccing anything I've already read. So I'll be reading and viewing at least one new thing a week, theoretically.

I think everyone is going to do it differently - hopefully that's the beauty of it. I remember last year we had people saying they would make one rec post during the month, and others pledged to rec every day! \o/

I'm going to focus on art. Not enough people rec art the way I think they should. My flist gets a lot of recs for fic, and that's great for when I get home and have a couple of hours to sit down and read, but sometimes we need that little afternoon quickie, right?

I think I'm going to try and rec one thing (fic or art) for each of my ships. Which, good lord that's a lot. Basically I think I'm hoping I can force a few people on my flist to see the light and then come cry with me forever. Only because I love you all, you understand, right? :D
