Four things which caught my eye this week:
1) New trailer for Ghosts of the Pacific, with Tom Felton all sweaty and scuffed-up and bearded? OH GO ON THEN, IF I MUST.
I don't think this film is my cup of tea at all, but I would do a lot for that beard, I'm telling you. Try here if the embedded video doesn't work for you.
2) I don't know if you've seen these, but they made me laugh: the Harry Potter films reviewed by someone who has never read the books or seen the films before.
This is what it's like to watch the Harry Potter films for the first time.
They poke a lot of (gentle) fun at the films, including the kids' acting, sometimes, so don't look if that might make you cry. ;-)

The link to the Chamber of Secrets one is here.
3) I apologise for all the links to buzzfeed, but I know a lot of you are, like me, intrigued by androgyny / genderplay. This collection of photos of drag artistes has a really cool feature where you can slide between the faces of the men without their make up, and then in drag.
15 fierce drag queen transformations
And finally:
4) Gosh, this had me hooting.

I must remember to log out of AO3 as often as possible, just so I get to click proceed and mouth silently "bring forth the tale of dicks" while I am doing it.
If you think I have been posting rather a lot this week, well, yes, it's a fair cop. I've really enjoyed it (and can only apologise if you haven't) but I'll probably dry up at last, now. Mr Birds was off all week helping with the kids because most of us were ill, and I felt too cruddy to write, so there was nothing much to do except read fic and talk nonsense on LJ. I'm a lot better now, though, and if I do get any spare time I should really spend it writing for some of these fests I have signed up for. O_O But thanks to everyone who has chatted with me - it has been a great distraction on some pretty crappy days. <3

“I’m Ron. Ron Weasley. I always introduce myself by saying only my first name, followed by both my first and last names. You try it.”
