RECS, oh my, do I have recs.

Fandom has made me so happy this week! I never realised how major my semi-public sex kink is before, but I have been rolling around like a pig in clover over at the Anywhere but the Bed comment fest.


First of all I realised I really need to give credit to the brilliant photographers who we stole the image from. The duo are called Zuza Krajewska and Bartek Wieczorek, and I found the picture on this site which gives an overview of their recent work.

I've also got to rec a pair of fics which sprung from the collective brain of the Anywhere but the Bed prompters. It started with a prompt set in Harry's back yard, and kind of grew from there. Soon anyone and everyone was getting it on at the Potters' annual barbecue. These fics were written independently, but belong together forever in a perfect meeting of slashy goodness.

Bloody Potters by lumosed_quill and Effed by blithelybonny. They are both stupendously hot, beautifully written, full of cross-gen and next gen, desires both unconsummated and consummated, and lashings of risky goings on, right under Harry's nose. I can't tell you how delicious they are.

My next rec made me feel like my brain was catching fire. The combined hotness of tube-travel smut, orgasm denial, voyeurism, exhibitionism, snark, banter, a toppy Draco AND Sherlock fandom just about finished me off. Plus the title is FTW. The Public Gets What the Public Wants by barefacedbandit. Please don't miss it - it's scorching.

Finally I was lucky enough to have two of my own prompts filled and they are both divine. The Beast and the Aloof Prat (who's scared) by lumosed_quill and Second Time's the Charm by sophie_french are both hot, funny and absolutely delightful.

The fest doesn't finish till Sunday and we have plenty of creative prompts looking for a good home over there, including lots of rare pairs, het and femslash prompts. Please come and play if it takes your fancy.


In other news, hd_fanart is claiming tomorrow for their fest! I'm excited to see if any of my prompts get claimed. The perusal post is here. I have been really, utterly spoilt for art this year but it just makes me crave more, I'm afraid, so I will be staking out the list of prompts and hoping to see that 'claimed' sign next to one or more of mine.... *fingers crossed*
