Two of my prompts have been claimed at hd_fan_fair! I am thrilled! One of them is Hogwarts caretaker!Draco and librarian!Harry, which it seems to me is ripe for comedy and smut, but could of course be steered in any number of fabulous directions. I'm just excited to read whatever happens with this one. Thank you very much if the person who claimed it is reading this.

And the other one, OH JOY OF JOYS, is my Adam Ant!Harry / manager!Draco ART PROMPT; oh my giddy aunt, am I chuffed about THIS? In the SERIOUSLY EXCITED, can't wait, is-career-fair-posting-yet sort of way.

I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE END OF SEPTEMBER!! WHAT IS THIS OUTRAGEOUS LENGTH OF TIME? No-one could survive waiting for Adam Ant!Harry that long. NO-ONE. I'm going to have to hack into the mods' computers and steal the fucker. Don't worry, I'll share after I have had my way with him.

And, speaking of other things that have made me happy this week, I made it past 15k on my harrybang. I know 15k is not terribly impressive, but I feel it's not bad for a start, and the story is hopefully starting to shape up. Soooooooo... I thought it wouldn't be too bad if I took one little prompt at hd_fan_fair for myself. Just a teeny little one. I can knock it up in a weekend, I'm sure. No problem ;-)

I'm slightly in love with my prompt. I got the one I was staking out the claiming post half the day for hoping to get, so I'm really chuffed about that.

Swordspoint is a fabulous book by Ellen Kushner about a professional duellist and his bored aristocratic messed-up bad boy lover, and I'm very glad someone claimed that prompt because i want to read the fic that results!

Goodness me. That sounds rather good.

It's so good. Every time I read it I mentally sub in Draco and Harry for the main characters. The duelist isn't quite perfect as Harry but it's more than close enough to make do with. His lover? Absolutely Draco. He goes around deliberately mouthing off to people and picking fights, because his boyfriend is the best swordsman in the city, and then the swordsman just steps in at the last minute and takes the fight and his lover is entirely unrepentant about it, and it's just ::flail::

I can't wait to read this. <3
