The Fantastic Beasts film is going to be released on November 18th, 2016!

Warner Bros announced the date yesterday for the series of "three mega movies".

I think it's high time to get our fancasts going again....

I know it's early days, but will you be going, do you think? Or are you planning to give it a big swerve?

I'll definitely be there. I'm excited to see the wizarding world pre-Harry.

Do you think the films will come under HP or have their own fandom?

I suppose as someone said downthread, it'll be like Star Trek, with different offshoots, maybe?

Hmm, it's exciting to think that the HP fandom is growing mature and large enough to have sub-fandoms :D
