Who do you love the best?

I'm getting EXCITED for the Character Love fest. So tell me, which characters do you want to see getting lots of love? Anyone will be able to start a thread for whatever characters they like, once the fest is going, but I want to start some off, as well, to give people ideas, and to get the love juices flowing.

Please comment with who you'd most like to see a thread for at the Love Fest - this doesn't commit you to posting anything on that thread, of course. Maybe give me your top 5. Hmm, tricky, isn't it? You can choose any character, from any era - as long as they appear somewhere in the Harry Potter series, they qualify to receive love. They don't even have to be human. O_o And remember Death Eaters need love, too (especially pointy ones).

I did consider Slughorn too. There is something appealingly outrageous about a man setting up a club under his own name into which he collects all the most talented witches and wizards he comes across :)

LOL at the Malfoycentricity. I'm surprised you didn't put Abraxas in, just to make up your quintet.

I do like Slughorn. He has a wonderful touch of the grotesque but is still terribly human.
