Who do you love the best?

I'm getting EXCITED for the Character Love fest. So tell me, which characters do you want to see getting lots of love? Anyone will be able to start a thread for whatever characters they like, once the fest is going, but I want to start some off, as well, to give people ideas, and to get the love juices flowing.

Please comment with who you'd most like to see a thread for at the Love Fest - this doesn't commit you to posting anything on that thread, of course. Maybe give me your top 5. Hmm, tricky, isn't it? You can choose any character, from any era - as long as they appear somewhere in the Harry Potter series, they qualify to receive love. They don't even have to be human. O_o And remember Death Eaters need love, too (especially pointy ones).

This is tricky! I'm trying to think of characters who are maybe under-loved. Noncommittally, I say:
Hermione
Ginny
Professor MacGonagall
Seamus
Aberforth

Ginny, controversial choice there! I'm happy she's in.
No list would be complete without Hermione.
And your other two choices are v-e-r-y interesting.... *strokes beard*

Mmm. Trying to go broad. Will not be at all affronted if they're not on the list, but I do think there are some things to appreciate there. People who were butts at some point or another and still came round to help the war effort, etc. Perhaps it's just the kind of appreciation that requires beard-stroking.

McGonagall is a definite BAMF.

I have no idea how to actually run this thing - I don't know whether to start threads for every character mentioned here, or just the most popular, or what. But, rest assured - if there's a character you want to leave love for, you can just start your own thread once the fest begins. So if you want Aberforth, you shall have Aberforth (I like the idea, too)

This whole idea is so awesome, and the enthusiasm so evident, I'd bet it'll work itself out. And if I need to sneak the Aberforth love in, I'll manage. (For instance, a "Goats" sub-thread...)
