I'm sorry this is so little, and a day late, to boot, but I just wanted to make you a little thank you for all the lovely work you do in running the art fest, and for your own gorgeous creations which give me and many others so much pleasure.

"The stories we love best do live in us forever" is one of my favourite quotes from JKR about the series, and to me it definitely applies to the stories that we fan writers and artists make, too. I know the stories that your art tells will stay with us. ♥

P.S. I have no idea why the photo wants to make itself sideways, but after 5 mins fiddling, I am just going to give up and let it be. Please excuse the dreadful chainstitch! It was done with love, but you can see the bits where the kids were being particularly distracting (blaming kids = good plan :D)

How did your teatowels go?

Oh, those teatowels. Um, I completely missed my deadline on them. I've got about ten minutes worth of work left to do on the very last one, and for some reason have not been able to make myself sit down and just finish it already. This is fairly typical behavior for me, and no one is surprised. I'd feel worse about it if this were their only wedding gift, but we already got them a lovely gift, so these are sort of a bonus.
