Fic: Rarely Pure and Never Simple (H/D, ~29k, NC-17)

Time to claim my hd_fan_fair fic. This was a fabulous fest, I thought. I loved every bit of it, from the whole theme, to the prompts, to the amazing fic and art, the book cover designs, and the generous and enthusiastic commenters. I didn't manage to read everything yet,  but I found some real favourites.

Summary: Harry never thought taking a job as Draco Malfoy's bodyguard was going to be easy. Add in a curse that makes Malfoy even more of an obnoxious git than usual, and Harry's got serious problems.

I didn't get a chance to comment on this earlier but I really really loved it! I don't think anyone understands how much I love pining!Draco. And it was soooo hilarious. Especially the leather pants/bike scene. Oblivious!Harry was perfect. Lol
I also loved the scene where Draco couldn't stop babbling about Harry's hottness. It was too adorable
I like that the curse wasn't resolved. It gave way to that awesomely frank Draco in the last scene who I loved. I want to see more of him!

Thanks, Nox, I saw your kudos and wondered what you thought, so I really appreciate you letting me know! I'm really happy it made you laugh, and that you approve of my pining and oblivious boys. I really felt for Draco in the bedroom scene so I'm glad it came across well! And at first, I'll admit, I just didn't know what to do about the curse, but then I thought if it was cured, it almost robbed Draco of the opportunity to make good of it. I knew he could come out on top just given a little time and the love of a good man!

I definitely want to revisit this fic because I want to slash Silvius with someone. I have a crush on him.:DD I kept wondering if I could get him in bed with Harry and Draco, but they were too loved up to let him in, haha. I just thought the dynamic could be awesome, with Silvius being really into Harry, and Harry being really into Draco, LOL. I basically want to write smutty fanfic of my own fanfic O_o
