Ugh, I got behind already! This should have come last week, but I got all distracted with Tom Felton and that thing about the Vanishing Cabinets, and who knows what. I'll make THREE POSTS this week instead. Man oh man, I am a slavedriver :D

Why I loved it: This is a little gem from hp_silencio. It's just full of gentle warmth and happiness, without being mushy. A couple of commenters have said this would have made a perfect epilogue to the series, and I have to agree (especially as Harry is where he belongs, with Draco, heh heh). It's such a sweet fic and I think it deserves more love.

Why I loved it: NNNNNNNNNGH. This was such a delicious little scene of powerplay. James is all eager and desperate, and Draco is perfectly in control.

I am sorry about this next one but who_la_hoop was just insatiable. Since she heard I had fic for this pairing she has been pestering me nonstop for the details ;-)))

Or: Nick Grimshaw has done some stupid, ridiculous, mad things in his life, but falling for Harry Styles might be the stupidest thing yet.

Why I loved it: I can't even remember what possessed me to start reading this. I didn't even know who Nick Grimshaw WAS, fgs; I had to Google him. Anyway for some reason I started reading a novel length Harry Styles / Nick Grimshaw fanfic and I got COMPLETELY OBSESSED with it. You know when you are just thinking about a story all the time and wondering what will happen to the characters? Honestly. It took me about 5 days to finish it and I kept feeling like I was on drugs. But this is, disregarding who the characters are, at heart, a really engaging M/M love story. The UST and pining are wonderful. Nick's voice is charming and real-feeling, and there's romance and pathos and sweetness and smut and just loads of little details that make it work.

I'll be honest, once they stopped fooling around and properly got together, I lost interest. I probably needed to be invested in the actual real-life pairing to care about them once the UST turned to RST, and I wasn't, not really. But the build-up was fabulous, and who_la_hoop was going to use the knowledge that I read this to blackmail me FOREVER if I didn't come clean and out myself, so, here you are :DD

I know full well there are more than a couple of people on my flist who have admitted to "taking an interest" in Harry Styles, so, here you are, ladies. You're welcome. :D

LOL, he's only 8 years older than mine. And I first had my eye on him when he was 16.

He's NOT my son, though, nor yours. And we aren't going to do anything to him in RL. Nick Grimshaw's too busy doing it all :DD
