I just wanted to wrap up the Draco's birthday love fest with a big ♥ ♥ thank you ♥ ♥ to everyone who joined in.
It was so much fun, and the first thing like this that I have hosted on my LJ, so I am super grateful for all the publicity, support and contributions. The master list for the fest is here, and just because I want to have an excuse to post
kedavranox's gorgeous banner one more time, you can find the love fest by clicking here:

I contributed a Cliche Celebration post at
hd_cliche.

I really enjoyed thinking about this cliche, and organising my favourite fanworks involving the Room of Requirement. We never did find that particular RoR art we were searching for, but there are plenty more lovely ones, and 3 fics as well. Click on the banner if you'd like to read the post.
Recs for Smoochfest:
I wish I'd had more time to read all the fic, but here are two that really stood out for me so far.
Title: Welcome to Holding Hands
Summary: Harry and Draco, Auror partners extraordinaire, work perfectly together in the field. It's every other minute of the day that they have arguments. Having had enough, Kingsley, gives them a choice: sort out their problems or they're off the force. Deciding that they'd really rather keep their jobs, they go to counselling, but the therapy isn't quite what they expected.
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~19,500
This was a real pleasure to read, a deliciously flufftastic feel-good fic. The prompt in itself was a gift, but the MA has done such a skillful job in taking Harry and Draco from A to B with the optimum amount of humour, romance, and lots of lovely UST.
Title: Something I Don't Want to Stop
Summary: It's Harry and Draco's eighth year, the Houses have been all but demolished in favor of unity, and they're being forced to room together. How ever will they cope?
Rating: NC-17
Warning(s): brief and mild homophobia
Word Count: 16,275
I fell for this fic really quite hard. I think it was the way that the story was just rolling along very nicely and then suddenly, BAM, a super hot scene which sent the UST off the dial. The hotness didn't really let up after that; the boys are definitely teenagers with er, plenty of enthusiasm, but there's also plenty of sweet romance and a lovely innocence to their characters.
There are lots more things I want to post about, but I must leave it there before this gets any longer. Hope you are all having a good week?
