I am awash with endorphins after the relief of rescuing my fic from the clutches of doom the google server error earlier. I want to share some happiness around!

These are the things that are making my day sparkly.

- Eddie Redmayne's Hufflepuff PSA:

- This amazing Albus/Scorpius art that 8c drew for me (CC compliant, but you don't have to know the play to enjoy the gorgeousness)

Some Cursed Child Scorbus or on tumblr

- saras_girl's latest series Headlights in the Snow. Reading her advent fic is an annual tradition for me and I enjoy it each night curled up in bed. Such a delicious treat.

And not forgetting all the other advent fics, my word, we've treats for months! Thank you to everyone sharing their fic and art with us at the moment, you are all amazing. ♥

OMG!!

I went through nearly the same thing with Microsoft Word and my late fest fic.

I sent it to my beta and she was like "oh I thought you'd finished it". I did one of these:

when I checked and found that the doc I sent her was missing nearly 2.5K of fic!!

It took some time and googling and digging into places in my computer I never want to go again...but I found it.

Now I'm back to saving and emailing it to my self before I close my computer for any reason.

Oh Birds, what a horrible thing to happen. I'm glad you managed to save your fic! I mean, Erised isn't Erised without a fic by you. We didn't have that problem with Google docs here at my end, but since watching Mr Robot (an amazon original series) my trust in server security is forever shattered anyway!
