There have been some amazing things lately (I'm not even nearly on top of it all) and here is a mere handful of the lovely stuff that is out there:

Welcome to Victoire's (Draco/Albus Severus, PG) This is the most fabulous, flirty and delicious comic for my prompt about Draco getting a style update from a gorgeous young Albus. The Mystery Artist VERY SNEAKILY pumped me for weeks about my head canons for Al, and then produced this completely beautiful thing which has slayed me. The comic is charming and funny and romantic and I LOVE IT TO BITS. ♥

Wowowow, did you see this gorgeous H/D art (NSFW) from harrysde? I love the intense intimacy of their pose, and the soft, lush colours. I just want to stare at this forever.

And I'm super behind at hd_tropes, so please do share any recs you have, but I thoroughly enjoyed both of these this week:

I've Waited Here for You (Everlong), (H/D, 24k, NC-17) currently anon.This is one of the most perfect FWB fics I've ever read - the set up is just so good and the MA moves everything along beautifully and convincingly to its VERY satisfying conclusion.

The Exorcist (H/D, 4k, NC-17), currently anon. This is such a delicious, smutty treat, I suggest you race over there immediately and devour it.


WELL, in other news, I finished and submitted something for a fest (I had technically dropped this one but managed to get inspired again literally in the nick of time, hoorah!). I think a couple of you spotted me already, heh.

ANNNNNND I'm going to see Cursed Child on Wednesday and I'm PRETTY DARNED EXCITED. I won't post anything about it on my public LJ, but if you're not already on my Cursed Child filter and would like to be added, please let me know!

Great recs!! I haven't been following tropes but seeing your and capitu's recs I feel like I really should. Actually, given the nature of the fest, I can't believe I didn't sign up! Always next year, though! Don't mind me as I add the community to my feed and start catching up!

I'm so excited for Next Gen fest!! Did you see some of those prompts!!! Ahhhh. That picture gives me all the lovely feels too. I look forward to hearing about your experience seeing the show.

I was at Target the other day and they had the scrips on display, so I randomly flipped it open and there was two pages of Harry/Draco interactions which so had a sort of 6th year/book vibe to me it made me sigh in relief. There will always be H/D in Harry Potter canon as long as you know where to look. I feel like that's a Dumbledore quote.... sort of, haha XD

WHAT! Come again? When did this happen? I'm sure you haven't mentioned a thing. Not a single thing! Why must you always keep me in the dark? Now I'm going to obsess about what is it and where it is. Is it at crossgen? Fine, don't tell me, keep your secrets and I'll keep mines. XD

Oh, yes, you should sign up for tropes! I was thinking myself, "Why don't *I* sign up for it?" Then I remember how erised makes me nearly lose my shit each year, LOL, and I shut up.

The amount of fan fiction I've read this year compared to last has gone down drastically, but all these recs and fests going on now in all three of my big fandoms make me want to just take a week off from work and roll around in all of the fic.
