Hello, friends new and old. This is a meme so we can get to know each other a bit better (and, if last night was anything to go by, so that I have something entertaining to read at 4 am :-/) Come and comment here and I will ask you FIVE EXCITING FANDOMMY QUESTIONS. Probably.I might just ask dull stuff about your favourite cheese, or nosy things about your sex life
Or, if you are feeling shy, or are naturally the inquisitive type yourself, you can ask ME five questions.
IT'S VERY EXCITING. We can pretend we are in the Slytherin Common Room playing Truth or Dare. WHO'S GOING TO BE FIRST?

Date: 2013-01-22 09:30 pm (UTC)1) Now this is interesting. My first thought was that Peter Pettigrew should die (because UGH), but actually it should probably be James who dies, because Harry wouldn't be Our Harry if his father had lived. So, tragic though that is, Daddy Potter gets it. From there, the others are easy. Slap Pettigrew (because UGH). Kiss Sirius (because UNF), and marry Remus (because he's just lovely).
2) Um, you know, I'm not sure. I added a few films (Seven, Goodfellas, 12 Angry Men) to my amazon basket this morning after discovering some aged gift vouchers, but obviously that's not really shopping. I've also added cling film and cat food to my supermarket shop to be delivered tomorrow morning. In terms of shopping in person, though, that is probably from last weekend, when I bought lots of baby things for my friend who is due to give birth any day now. On the same trip I bought this book for my not-really-niece's birthday in a couple of weeks - husband and I were cackling reading it, it's great (and a little less obviously bleak than the first book by this guy). However, that shopping trip was largely because I wanted an excuse to go into town and buy this book - The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss which is just wonderful. He is my favourite new author and I love the way he writes, so lyrical and full of detail without being annoyingly difficult to read. I also love his main character, Kvothe, who is "a great gaudy showboating bastard" and very entertaining to read.
3) Oh blimey, I'm not sure. I think perhaps Polyjuice has the potential to be fun, but Veritaserum is likely to get you knowing things you'd really rather not know. How weird would it be to polyjuice yourself as your spouse though, so you could essentially swap bodies? Is it really wrong that I even thought that?
4) I don't like either! Harry and Draco belong together! If pushed I can probably see Harry/Snape more than Draco/Ginny though. If I imagine Draco/Ginny, I can mostly only envision a blazing row.
5) Snape totally wears pants. He has these billowing robes, he is in constant danger of a Marilyn Monroe moment.

Do you think Snape's robes are light enough for Marilyn effect? I imagine them all stiff and heavy, maybe with sickles sewn into the hem
so that no-one will get an eyeful of his bollocks if he goes out in a high windThank you for the answers and also for my questions! I will answer them later when I am on the pc so I can link ALL yTHE ARTS (you didn't think I would just pic ONE?? :D)
