That is true! It's quite possible inner circle is synonymous with Death Eaters, also. Either way, it's not explicit re Draco's Mark in the book, so even if JKR were to say it's canon, I would not agree. It's canon that he might & that Harry thinks he does! I have never seen interviews/Pottermore as canon info, just interesting info :)
