Ya know, a discussion of the whole top/bottom thing might be good. Not here, although I will say that, like you, I used to be weirded out by all the preferences one way or the other. I don't really care what others do anymore. It's just not where I'm at, but to each their own. I did stop following both Harry tops and the Draco tops boards/fests a few years ago. Not because I didn't want to read awesome fics, but because of the whining and bitching that went on between those with nazi-level preferences. They sort of spoiled it for me.
These days I just let it all go right past me and ignore most of it and while I really don't want to go back to all the whinging, I miss some good fics. So I am utterly dependent on people rec'ing the awesome fics they find! So thanks for these.
