Beautiful line and that whole paragraph in general has a nice cadence throughout. I read it out loud the second time around. I could totally see why Raitala might want to podfic this story (*squeee* I hope she does).
Your writing really clicks with me. It is competent but could be a quirky and funny and sometimes incredibly intense like in this piece. I am wondering, what is your writing process like? Are you a slow writer or do you just get it all out and edit it later? A lot of times I can tell with people's writing but for some reason not with yours.
