I don't think she can spend 7 books setting up R/H to be together, and then say "oops, changed my mind." But then, when the actual interview text came out, rather than what was being reported in the press, she put it much less strongly than I originally thought. I don't think R/H are perfect for each other in every way, but a marriage that has some conflict and stress is still a valid marriage, and ending up in marriage counselling is not a sign that the people are not 'meant' to be together. I personally see it as rather immature and unrealistic to think that married couples have to have everything in common, and to always see eye to eye.
