Hello Pie! I love the explanation of both your username and your nickname! I do find it cute how everyone calls you Pie.
I agree my username has a poetic aspect to it. It does please me. I would never have called myself "shorebirds" for instance, although it means exactly the same thing. "Birds of shore" to me, sounds faintly archaic, mysterious, and yes, poetic. But that's just in my pretentious head :DD Who_la has an icon with my bird pecking Nic's head, LOL. I must steal it from her and use it more often, I've got plenty of OTHER people's icon with Nic in (see current one), but not my own.
