I rarely comment on old fics, especially if there is no sign that the person is still active in the fandom. And I was definitely a lurker when I first entered the fandom. I felt way too insecure to comment. What if I said I thought something was clever when lots of stories did the same thing! I'd look like a n00b!! *shakes head at own insecurities*
