ALSO: (over thinking) "feebly stirring" really implies the person, although injured, is coming round, NOT dying. I just checked this very scientifically with Mr Birds and he agrees if someone is 'feebly stirring' then they are recovering rather than fading away.
If you want someone to be dying, you don't write their last appearance in canon to show them getting better.
