I've always prefered Remus over Sirius. The way he handles the Dementors and the confrontation with Pettigrew is just so amazingly cool and level headed. The only thing that really scares him enough to get him to make some less than stellar decisions is in DH when he's afraid that he'll be a liability to his wife and baby. And that alone is enough to make me swoon.
