I am so hopeless at posting on here, please excuse my html fails I beg you!

I've been reading at hd_fan_fair on AO3 and have had a glorious time. I've also been looking at the friendly contest to win the house cup and trying to do my bit for Team Treacle Tarts... however, it appears looking at the scoring spreadsheet (awarded for comments and recs), TTT are a bunch of feckless layabouts. :DDD We have the most team members and the fewest points per person by far, LOL! After completing the quiz to get sorted, apparently TTT are the people who like reading filth and UST. Well, I definitely belong there, so they are MY bunch of feckless layabouts. But who knew people who like smut were the type to just get instant gratification and then click away? I'm shocked! (OK, I'm really not... ;-))

Anyway, enough rambling and onto the recs. My reading has been quite random, and I've enjoyed everything I've tried, so please take this post for what it is: a disorganised selection of some of the glories that I've stumbled on. I'm so sorry but I have hardly read any longer fics due to lack of time. Please tell me what I've missed! I'd love to hear what my friends have been reading. <3

Chasing Treacle Tart (and Draco Malfoy)

This, to me, is like a quintessential fan fair fic. It's hot, it's very funny, it's incredibly feelgood, it's got a slightly ridiculous premise (Draco is a dinner lady), it's got awkward flirting and Harry munching sadly on a potato. I absolutely adored it.

The Hand That Feeds You

Merlin on a flaming broom, this was INCENDIARILY hot. Maybe it just hit a ton of my kinks, but it's soooo beautifully written and immersive and divine and emotional and hurty and, I flail. Sub!Harry has a guilty part-time BDSM relationship with Draco to escape and be himself. Birds swoons. Warnings for infidelity, BDSM, open ending, and quite frankly dangerous levels of hotness. It's a total gem.

The Great Magic Sex Mushroom Fiasco

First of all, best title ever. Second of all, Harry and Draco eat magic sex mushrooms by accident. HOW TRAGIC. The results are deliciously, divinely dirty and also wonderfully feelsy. A beaut of a fic.

Succumb or Retreat

This is a premise that always has me drooling - Auror!Harry feeling very conflicted about Draco, who for some mysterious reason can't seem to keep out of trouble. Here Harry is intriguingly grey in terms of morality and Draco is as devious and self-serving as they come... it's a winner.

Draco Malfoy's Reasonably Large Cucumber

If the title of this gorgeous comic doesn't have you snickering, I can't really help you. Draco is driving Harry INSANE by boasting about his firm and versatile cucumber. Preposterous and delightful shenanigans ensue.
