The thing you learn in Marvel fandom: a character is only ever really dead if you see his actual torn-apart or shot and very dead body. :) Everybody else does come back.
You are right, Queenie was a delightful character, and it's all owed to the actress. I just wish they would not go for such a blatantly sexist scenario to introduce a woman, in the 1930's, too, even if Queenie is all innocence about it. I really loved how casual it was introduced that she can read minds, and that short dialogue between her and Newt, with him asking her to not read his mind, was very intriguing.
I have been thinking more about Tina, and she really interests me, perhaps exactly because there is so little we hear about her in the movie.
