OMG OMG. It's today. I'm so excited, I keep reminding myself to BREATHE LIKE A NORMAL PERSON.

I've come to flail all over you. I've got things to share while we wait. People sent me Justin Trudeau pictures? And I fucking love them for it.

FUCKKKKK. I thought he was wearing leather trousers and a little leather cap for a minute or two. I'm too old for this much excitement. In fact, his awesomeness is escalating too rapidly for me. I'm not sure what he's going to do next and it scares me.

Then, these alternative Pokemon names are better than the real ones. S N E K is my favourite, along with AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA and Gangnam Style.

I saw Ghostbusters again and it wasn't as good as the first time. IT WAS BETTER. I honestly adore this film so much I don't know what to do with myself. I think it actually might be my perfect film ever. It's exciting without being too scary or too violent. It makes me laugh. It's not too complicated or depressing. It's about overcoming being a lonely dork, and finding true friends who LIKE you being a dork. The outfits are amazing. It's got cool weapons in, but they're not like REAL weapons so I don't feel guilty about being all OMG GUNS YES. I love every single character, more or less. PLUS HOLTZMANN IS IN IT.

Also, I started writing something purely for fun and I got 1000 words down yesterday. Which made me happy.

I hope Ghostbusters is somehow still playing in theaters when Shelly visits because I'd LOVE to see it with my gf! In fact, I can't bring myself to see it with anyone else, because I know it's going to be a whole huge feminist/drooling/maybe crying with joy experience for me and I either need to see it by myself, or with good friends who would ~get it~ (i.e. you, Capi, other fandom friends who do not live here), or with my awesome gf, and right now the only option of those I have is to see it on my own. I just can't see it with people who won't get what it means; that would be worse than having to wait to see it, for sure!

Okay, now I'm back to Erised and being AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA again! :-P

It's not showing after this week in the cinemas near me, which is why I made sure to go and see it this morning. I think it's being knocked out by Suicide Squad and some new big kids' films. I would definitely travel to somewhere else to see it again, though, in fact, I was already planning to do that, LOL. I travelled to different places seeing the original 5 times back in the 80s (I was *always* weird and obsessive, heh) and it makes me so so happy that the reboot affects me as deeply, but in different and more meaningful ways.

I absolutely cried twice with joy. And there is a sequence which everyone who has seen the film will know exactly what I am talking about, where my eyes nearly have a fucking orgasm and I would honestly watch 2 hours solid of that alone.

Plus Chris Hemsworth is never a BAD thing to look at, amirite? ;)

My daughter showed me some of those autocorrect pokemon names, and I think my fave was 'Keith' instead of Meowth - the whole house has now started calling everybody Keith, we're ridiculous.

Also, I fucking LOVED Ghostbusters! Everything about it was so fucking perfect. I think my fave moment was Patty and her refusal to enter the 'room full of nightmares', LMFAO

66! Man, I only have 31 so far. I only started playing a few days ago! My nephew has over 70. My strongest is Tangela, I think (unless I'm reading this whole thing wrong). And I have Poliwrath, which apparently is cool, according to my nephew.

Don't forget, I hardly work and I walk everywhere. There is a LOT of pokemonning opportunities. Our park has about 10 stops in and there's always Lures going nonstop. I walked home from work the other day and visited 22 Stops by only making very minor diversions ;)

Ah, I loved Patty SO MUCH, and then I read an opinion piece about how her character was so stereotyped, and how they could have done so much more with her to break the racial mould, and I felt sad about that (and sad I hadn't even noticed). But watching the film again today, I must say the actor who plays her is so awesome, I forgot all over again and just fell in love with her a second time.

Keith is great. I keep meaning to rename some of my pokemon but I haven't got around to it. We have started singing Gangam Style whenever we see a Psyduck, though ;)

Oh man, the Trudeau II love from abroad is so, so amusing. A friend of mine from Oman shook his hand at Pride and nearly swooned.

Also, is it acceptable to by excited re: Erised as a mere bystander? It's my fave fest! It's genuinely what I love most about the winter hols. Bless all of you hardworking authors and artists...
