But wow wow wow! No disappointment here, it's even more vivid and brilliant than the original, which says a lot because the original is one of my favourite fictions just in general regardless of pairing/fandom.
I was a little sad and angry at Draco's dick-like behavior but that's what made it work so well. And really it just showed how utterly invested I was in the story and these characters. It hurt and I hurt but it really was do Draco, and I think you're right... As much as I love Draco he was a little shit as a kid and with his upbringing it makes sense he would still be a bit haughty and arrogant and not always fully compassionate. But he does love his son, I am certain of it and even more so he does love Albus, that much is clear even if he may never admit it.
OMG an other installment of this glorious fiction!? YES! ::encourage encourage:: Ahhhh, how will I never function and not turn into complete trashy goo afterwards!? I shiver with anticipation for that! Although, my heart already quivers with fear at a jealous Draco which implies a lot of dick moves on his part and heartache for my dear Scorpius. But I will be brave, because as much as it hurts it truly is the most lovely pain I've ever felt. It wouldn't work without that nagging ache.
Hahah, that moment was perfection! OMG and I forgot about the dick size comparing part, I nearly died there! Poor Scorpius was so nervous and humiliated but then when Draco turned it around was like "ah, yes, excellent Malfoy genes" and Scorpius felt proud, oh my heart melted! And How could I also not mention when they both came and were basically holding each other up? PURE LOVE! I won't deny it, I do love me a little Malfoy incest, haha, but what I really adore is this tentative and complicated father/son relationship Draco and Scorpius have. Albus is just a dream, so need and wanting and beautiful in his love and need for both men but the moments I adore the most are the odd and subtle bonding that occurs through their love for the same person. I like to imagine, in a way, even as Albus threatens to shatter them and tear them apart, he also is bringing them closer. Whenever Draco has a moment where he approves or is proud of Scorpius and the kind of glee it brings the younger Malfoy, oh it's just so utterly beautiful.
