I'm thrilled you approve. That is really good to hear, actually, because I always start off thinking I've got hardly any time, so I will write a drabble. Then I go We-ell, but I've still got more stuff to say. I'll write ANOTHER drabble. Then it becomes a series. Then I fiddle about with the word count, then I decide one of them is crap and start again, then I send to a beta and they point out what needs changing and THEN I HAVE TO DICK WITH THE WORD COUNT AGAIN.
Then I decide a drabble set is a rubbish gift for this most wondrous person and want to go and hide and weep softly to myself.
I should just sit down to write a 10k fic every time there's a birthday - it would be quicker and easier. O_o
