You pigheadedly ignored advice, but you were RIGHT! That fic is so fabulous and being completely in Harry's head (in the way only 1st person povs allow) is part of what makes it so emotional and powerful. It's not just porn or pwp, it's sex with a lot of character development and depth. It's porn, but it's SO much more! Good on you for being Harry-like in your stubbornness!
