I was just searching for info on the Notice-Me-Not charm, and there isn't any, because it's a FANON INVENTION. NOOO! Really? The first webpage I found where someone was asking about it, had some smartarse saying "I think you'll find that's just a sad FAN FICTION thing, you poor deluded fool", I was smirking away: "heh, that's what you think, I have seen it in LOADS OF.....er.... loads of fics. Hold me while I show you my Lupin feels
I feel like I'm spamming everyone this week, but I need to discuss my overwhelming feels for Remus Lupin. I've been reading Prisoner of Azkaban with my eldest son for a while now (we only get 10 or 15 mins most nights without his brothers, but I love sharing it with him) and I've enjoyed it an awful lot more than I did on the times I've read it alone. I remember a discussion recently on hp_canon_love about what was your favourite book, and LOADS of people picked POA. I was really surprised, as I actively disliked a lot of things about it.

Come join the LOVE FEST
Everything is looking rather fabulous over at Draco's birthday party. It lasts all week and you can post something whenever you like, or just chat and admire the things that people have left for us. We have rec lists, discussion, fic, art, video, gifs and limericks (!), all to celebrate the birthday of our beloved Draco. :DD

Room of Requirement ART recs needed
I am doing the Cliche celebration thingy on the Room of Requirement for hd_cliche, and I've got my fic lined up already, but I'm finding it harder to think of / find art based around this theme. I found some lovely pictures by naadi, of the Fiendfyre rescue in the Room of Hidden Things, but no other Room of Requirement art with a Harry/Draco pairing. Do you know of any? Please please don't be shy to rec your own work if you've done something on this theme. I'd love to see it!
While I'm asking for recs, if you're reading anything fabulous and fluffy at the moment, do let me know. My brain is so tired and I am craving sweet romance, but I don't even know where to begin looking.

More Sunday nonsense than usual: interviews and shenanigans
Well, this week LJ was a sod, so I had to go and play with my bit on the side, tumblr, instead, and read and look at lots of things on there. This means that this post is maybe a bit more about Sherlock than HP. I also had so much fun catching up on watching Graham Norton, with both Benedict Cumberbatch, and Daniel Radcliffe. I have not watched so much TV for months.

Bank holiday nonsense with a small side helping of meta
I didn't read much this week, so I don't think I have any recs for you. *Checks pockets* No, sorry. But as is traditional, I have some nonsense for anyone who is in a playing mood. I can't remember how I came across this, but I HAD to try it straight away, even though I didn't really have 18 mins to spare.
Harry Potter top 200 Quiz
You have 18 mins to type in as many of the top 200 Harry Potter characters as you can. What a challenge! I got 102 and was so pissed off with myself for not remembering more. To be completely honest, I only got so many because if you type, eg, "Weasley", you get a point for ALL the Weasleys. I'm not saying I would have forgotten any Weasleys, but some other families, I would have.
My memory is actually atrocious. For lots of characters, I knew exactly who I was trying to think of, but I could not get their names! For instance, I'd be thinking "oh ffs, the Daily Prophet poison pen journalist. She uses a Quick-Quotes Quill. Miranda Richardson plays her in the films, OMG WHAT IS HER NAAAAAAAME?"
Anyway, go and do this quiz, if you are going to, and then you can come back and read about all the people I forgot, and feel smug because you are a much much better fan than me ;-)
