I am expecting my flist to erupt with squee about this fic at any minute, so I am trying to get in first ;-)

The latest longish fic at hd_holidays is an absolute CORKER. Give yourself a real treat and read it today. It's got depth, wonderful layers of plot, wicked humour, delicious smut, brilliantly assured writing, perfect supporting characters and the most beautifully believable Harry and Draco. I am going to compose an epic comment for the author when I am more coherent, but just wanted to come and tell you all immediately.

This fic made staying up half the night with a poorly baby an absolute JOY, and I am quite tempted to go and read it a second time, straight away. I think I fell in love with Harry and Draco all over again. I don't want to spoil you at all, but I am dying for everyone to read this so that I can cackle with you over the early scenes where we find out what Draco has been taught about dealing with Muggles. So we can grin over all the brilliant moments of warmth and humour. And so that I can cling to you during all the parts that made my heart ache. ♥ Please read it, now. That is all.

Belated SQUEEEE over here, it's FANTASTIC. "Brilliantly assured writing" is just the right description for the prose, I couldn't think of how to say it - because it's not ~beautiful or elegantly sparse but it's very good. Also, AHHAHAHA VAGINA DENTATA OMG. I can just picture thirteen-year-old Draco's eyes all wide at that. And then OMG THE WEREWOLF PART. "you make me brave" is like, my new "the stars will sing of us, you and I."
