I don't even like art. I don't. I am utterly indifferent. I have about 3,000 fics saved to my harddrive and maybe five pieces of art. Ten years I have been lurking and writing and lurking in this fandom, and there have been maybe five drawings that I looked at and said, yeah, that's sexy, I might want to look at that again sometime.

This piece. I want it. I want to marry it and have its BAMF babies. Draco's pose is TO KILL FOR. Exquisite. Harry's hand on his head - protective and dismissive at the same time. Yes, this is what I wanted! I want all the fanfic authors to be inspired by this piece. And did you see that the artist reposted my feedback? Little old me...I feel like I've gotten a benediction from on high.

But this shows just how different tumblr is from LJ. You can't comment directly on a post on tumblr, you have to reblog. Which is nice in its own way as it takes care of trolls and shows the varied path of popularity of a post--who got it from where and how. But then you can't have a comment conversation like this one over there quite as easily.

That's about all I can think of to say about this. Every single thing about Draco (his posture, his trousers, his arse, his defiant right arm) every single thing is perfect. He is dripping sex. My brain wants to melt out my ears. Just him alone would do it, and then you have Harry with his delicate hold on his wand and his possessive hold on Draco's head... Wow. The whole thing is just so striking and fills me with a rush of emotions. It's so hot, and yet there is such trust and history between them.

I love how with the lighting, Draco is the one illuminated and Harry is in shadow and green light. It appears as if Harry is the Dark wizard and Draco his angelic victim with a great arse.

I'm just going to sit here staring and shivering.

Edit: The snake! I forgot to mention how cool it is that the snake in the Dark Mark is 3D and is interacting with Harry!

JFC, I'm back again. I haven't been able to get this image out of my head all day. I keep going back to look at it, and every time I do I see something new. Harry's hand on Draco's bowed head, like a benediction, but at the same time the motion pushes Draco to the side as though he is unimportant, because all of Harry's attention is focused on the Mark. And the shimmer of Draco's vest, a pattern like snakeskin, and the way his body is limned in the light of Harry's spell.

Also, did I mention - THAT ARSE.

I saw this first thing in the morning and ever since I've been kind of pretending to work while my brain's been exploding with the perfection of this and all the ideas and feels it gives me! I mean, the ASS! the thighs! Draco's wand arm!!! ♥ and his whole posture, all stiff and tense, but still letting Harry do whatever he needs/wants to do !!! (I also have a little soft spot for the way his shirt peeks out from under his vest, that just keeps drawing my eye)

Oh my.... I am actually lost for words. How perfect is Draco in this picture? Just... guh!

In general I don't do HP art because I have a very set idea of how the characters should look in my head and no one quite makes it real, but this is utterly lovely. I love the fact that Draco's in muggle clothes whilst Harry is the one wearing robes as well.

And look at Draco's hair. And that arse. And Harry's hand. And, well, did I mention Draco's perfect? Oh sweet Merlin, I haven't had a fangirly moment like this in forever. Thank you for drawing this vision of perfection to our attention!
