I PROMISE TO PRODUCE LOTS OF REC-WORTHY ART!!!

That's my goal. I'm also going to try and rec something each day, and if not every day at least do a list of recs once a week!

I've already got a list going of art that needs to be seen and fics that need to be read!

Oh, it's interesting that people have been saving up recs to do. I sort of imagined it would mostly be recs from current fests. That's what I'm hoping for as I always get behind and need prodding :DD

Yep, I'm going current as much as possible. But I also like to sometimes check out somebody's master list, and if something strikes me and I know I haven't seen it recced around a lot, I'll go for it. But all my recs are going to be "new to me" I guess you could say. Not reccing anything I've already read. So I'll be reading and viewing at least one new thing a week, theoretically.

I think everyone is going to do it differently - hopefully that's the beauty of it. I remember last year we had people saying they would make one rec post during the month, and others pledged to rec every day! \o/

I'm going to focus on art. Not enough people rec art the way I think they should. My flist gets a lot of recs for fic, and that's great for when I get home and have a couple of hours to sit down and read, but sometimes we need that little afternoon quickie, right?

Yes! I love seeing art recs, because,as you say, it only takes a minute to enjoy.

Just realised I might have sounded like old fic and art is not OK to be recced, and I didn't mean that at all, sorry. I just meant 'I hope a couple of people prod me into reading some current stuff, as I'll never keep on top of fests otherwise..."
