Our playmobil people have been cosplaying again

I was meant to be getting on with stuff today, but instead created this multi-media art piece, which I have titled:

Procrastination, thy name is Stanley



You just have to pretend that he's green with a willow-pattern; those are totally booties, not stickers, and that's a snowy landscape not two towels that need ironing. And I did not spend fifteen minutes doing this and chuckling to myself when I should have been cleaning the bathroom.

ETA: I do not iron towels. I think my mother took over my LJ for a minute while I was typing that bit.

Lord, no, never! I don't even know where the iron is! I was just saying, they look all crumpled. AHEM, I THINK I SAID THAT WAS SNOW ACTUALLY. No spoiling it, now.

There wasn't a lot of clothes choice in our Playmobil wardrobe, today. I think they just threw on the first things they saw - which in Draco's case happened to be Harry's jumper, which he had left on the floor in a tangled heap after a night of playmobil passion.

LOL I don't iron anything either. I thought people would be saying "shit, look at those unironed towels!" I was fending off criticism. :DD I think I forgot I was talking to a lot of women who spend all their spare time reading about gay wizards, rather than my mother.

If I had servants loads of time, what I would iron is bedsheets. So flat and smooth when you go to a hotel or something. Yummy.

Ahaha don't worry. No ironing is ever done by me. In fact, my children think ironing is a really manly task, because they occasionally see their dad ironing a shirt. They rank it on a par with using a power tool or dangerous weapon.

I had forgotten about the booties. So when Akinator asks about shoes, maybe I should say yes? Maybe then I would find someone else's Stanley. The Stanley I introduced Akinator to is called "Stanley, Draco's mint-beetle", and I can get him, but I never get other people's version. (No, I'm not procrastinating on newly discovered Akinator, not me.)

My kids have got some lovely, realistic looking beetles somewhere, but I could I find them? No. Only the giant plasticy yellow one from the bottom of the toy box.

Just to reiterate, I LOVE big yellow Stanley. And yes, I now have that in my head, too. I love his hugeness and Draco's expression - he just looks sort of smugly impressed, I think. I agree Draco's expression turned out to be surprisingly apt. I think he is saying smugly "Why yes, I DO have a rather fabulous giant yellow beetle on the end of a lead; what of it?"

Ooh hello, I was rubbish about responding to this nice comment, although I know I did read it. Yes yes, that was entirely my aim, with the size difference, it was nothing to do with that being the only beetle I could find in the entire house. :D

At one point I was hoping to find the very dead, very large stag beetle I know J was hoarding a while back. A real beetle would have added a certain something to the scene, I think (terror? :DD)
