I promised capitu I would make rec posts before reveals and she's not even here to see this, my second post. *sniffle* But I loved this fest so much, hd_erised was absolutely mighty this year and I just wish I had more time to waffle on about all the fabulous things I read. This is a whistlestop tour of some more of my favourites. I'm still reading! Everything is amazing!

Title: Time and Again

I loved this so much. It was sweet and hot and funny. The whole thing is a joy, but if you haven't read it already, PLEASE can I tempt you with the scene where Harry, with his so-called secret crush, is off his face on pain potions and insists on rambling on about how much he wants to kiss Draco , in front of the wonderfully amused Theo Nott. It's hilarious and also soooo romantic and hot.

This is a total hoot. It's so pacy, and smart, and really fucking funny. But it's also got depth to it, and this really satsifying scene which throws fanfic cliches on their head, and some STEAMING sex. *fans self*And then sometimes it just has you clutching your heart with the unexpected feels. If you missed this one, I highly recommend it. You'll never look at an ice bucket the same way again :DD

If you're a Ron fan, you have to read this totally awesome Ron. It all felt so fresh, and vividly described, and then the hints of bondage, *nnnnnnghhhh*.

ith-benefits, except for some reason it involves an awful lot of actual dating and, sadly, not much sex. Confused? Harry is too, but when has anything with Draco Malfoy ever been as straightforward as it seems?

I reckon you've all read this, but I have to rec it. This is GLORIOUS beyond measure. The Harry POV will steal your heart away. It all seems effortless but it's SO BLOODY GENIUS and clever and emotional and HOT HOT HOT. It's fairly likely you've read fake dating fic before; you may even be of the opinion that you are TIRED of fake dating, but this fic is here to prove you wrong, and leave a big stupid smile all over your face.

There'll be another post if I can squeeze an extra hour into the day - with art. THE ART! *flail* I don't think I can even pick my favourites. I might have to rec EVERYTHING. O_o

Erised was just SO high quality this year overall. It was hard picking my top fics to rec out of what I've read (and I need to make a concerted effort to read the rest, I'm so behind!). picking top fics was hard enough; I wouldn't even know where to begin with the art. I too loved Expecto Patronum. I couldn't agree more about the wonderful push-pull of the relationship. For me that pushed the UST into transcendently perfect territory.
