This is really beautiful. I love how much emotion you conveyed in Harry. He is clearly so in love and wants nothing more than to make Draco (every Draco) happy and feel good. His devotion made the whole thing so sweet.
I loved Draco's disbelief battling with his need to believe that things would get better. It was so touching watching him want to believe Harry and yet terrified to be wrong.
Your descriptions! I love each word in this. I was totally sucked into that room and Draco's mind. You had me in the first paragraph and the descriptions of the weather. I'm usually a 3rd person pov girl, but the 1st person worked perfectly here. This was very well written and a pleasure to read.
In the middle of reading this, my brain started telling me I had read it before. It was driving me crazy because, looking at your author notes, there was no indication of previous publishing. Finally I figured out that it was vaguely reminding me of part of The Thread Through the Labyrinth, but that story is so different in general that it took ages for me to figure out the connection my brain was making. Silly brain, distracting me during smut. I guess it means I'll have to reread this now without the distraction. :D
I do see lots of sequel potential here. Just saying. *looks at future Draco waiting by the fire* *looks at past Potter having no idea everything has changed* Just saying. *whistles innocently*
